BeadDIY helps your Shopify store offer a custom bracelet design experience. You can build a bead catalog, let customers design bracelets on your storefront, save each custom design, and track which designs were paid through Shopify checkout.

Use this guide to set up the app and manage the customer experience.

What You Can Do With BeadDIY

• Design saving, Shopify product variant sync with storefront readiness checks, order payment tracking, clone tracking, and like tracking.

• Customer profiles with credits for likes and daily check-ins.

• Credit redemption for Shopify discount codes.

• Customize the wrist measurement guide image shown in the customizer.

• Import and export tools for categories and beads, an option to add a demo catalog, and handles customer and shop data requests for privacy compliance.

Recommended Setup Order

1. Configure branding, design limits, and credit rules in Settings.

2. Ensure you have an active storefront subscription to enable customer-facing features.

3. Create categories for organizing bead inventory, or add a demo catalog to get started quickly.

4. Add beads, images, and variants with prices, stock, and dimensions. You can also manually sort beads, or add demo beads to get started quickly.

5. Add the Customize Button theme app block to the storefront.

6. Let customers design bracelets and save their designs.

7. Enable and configure customer credits and redemption in Settings.

8. Add the Community Designs theme app block to display featured designs.

9. Add the My Designs sidebar theme app block for customer design management.

10. Review saved designs and paid designs in the admin app.

App Areas

• Dashboard: high-level design and paid design metrics, featuring an interactive setup guide to help you configure the app.

• Categories: catalog category management, drag sorting, import, export, and demo categories.

• Beads: bead inventory, variants with prices, stock, and status, images, dimensions, material, description, manual sorting and reordering, import, export, and demo beads.

• Designs: saved customer designs, sample designs, clone counts, like counts, sorting, payment status, and featured status.

• Settings: brand logo, help link, maximum beads, wrist measurement guide image, customer credit rules, and AI Assistant configuration.

• Theme extension: storefront Customize button, design summary display, My Designs sidebar, and Community Designs section. Requires an active storefront subscription.

• Customizer: customer bracelet design UI with preview, AI Design, wrist size guide, save drawer, and save progress modal. Beads are displayed in the customizer based on the manual sort order configured in the admin. Requires an active storefront subscription.
